India

Our mother India, our country,
Born from whose soil we have all learnt,
Just like her, to bear all on ourselves,
For she has taught us to nourish our children,
Just like she sustains us on herself,
We, the children of India,
The great India, our mother,
We are filled with pride and honour,
Which she has inherited to us,
After being freed from the rule of the tyrants,
Who tortured our mother for their own greeds,
Still she has nourished us with all she has,
Whenever anyone looks at her with enmity,
We feel the anger rushing through our veins,
And we tear the enemy apart,
So that no one ever dares to fight her again,
As long as we live,
Till we have the last drop of blood left,
We will love our mother India,
Always full of honour and pride.
We promise ourselves today,
Never to be terrified or be timid,
From being with our country in our country,
Lest we should hurt her heart,
Inspite of which she will nourish us,
Such is our mother India.
