Anymore the Same Insane

The days I remembered golden and gory,
When I used to share many a heartbreak story,
Oblivious to the wrying being unfolded hoary,
When that brilliant banal fool I was made to unglory.

It had begun with a sudden conscious stroke,
Ma(r)king me the fairy tale rich broke,
But forgiving even a even valedictory poke,
Receded away in jiffies, lost in time's spoke.

What changed, I talk to me,
That I stopped savouring my sorrow and glee,
Overnight, turned from fair to foul,
Freed from the joys of pain drenching my soul?

It's good I feel, it's lethal I know,
The solution to this contrary how to endow?
Forget the past, what it bestow?
Portals myriads, now so eager to go unslow.

Or do I change but remain with time,
Following the same lovely dorky rhyme,
The way as has been of my life of crime,
Allowing the odd one a chance to shine?

Answers I can if tried conceive,
Defeating the purpose of puzzling this sieve,
And knowing  this one has more reasons for you to grieve,
Being of chaos, leaving unsung I now take leave.

The Foxy Fox

Once upon a time there lived a fox... He was smart and intelligent but those days he was not getting any food (rabbits and plants etc woh jo bhi khaate ho).
Because deforestation was going on...
So he went northwards towards a great forest, which was still out of the reach of men and their mighty machines...

So then the fox went towads that forest. He ran all day and he ran all night, ran swiftly as if racing a bird's flight.

And thereby hidden by a little stone, he came upon a small brown cave, where resided an owl as brown as the walls of cave, and decided seeing the fox's plight (for he was worn from the run and had had very little food and rum) he decided he should him save...

Hence the owl spoke, "oh traveller, whence cometh thee? And to where you go? If you tell me pray, the way to your goal I will gladly show! :-)"

And the fox answered, "Oh wise owl", for he was old and white and ancient he could see, and would have knowledge vast and wide he fathomed immediately, and continued to say, "I come from the South, where alas, there's now scarcity of trees, and scarcity of food, and wine and bread, and though once upon a time in the rivers had flown red wine, these days flows in it red blood of those on whom the greed of humans have fallen." He added, "and hence I have escaped, and make my way to the great forests of the north."

The owl said, "Well well, sad is your tale indeed, but you have shown courage to venture so far, and deserve a little counsel from me.

"For the forest you seek lies straight ahead, in this road, many miles still to go, and if you wish to reach there safe and sound, you must rest in between, on an oasis by the road, but beware, there lies a green monster, mightier than men, and meaner than crows, you have wits I can tell, and these alone will let you pass unharmed from him and to your destination go."

Hearing this the fox became a little pale, for what is this monster? Thought he, that awaits me blocking to paradise my way??
Seeing this the owl said more, "Fret not, have trust on God and you, use your wits I've said, and you shall pass the oasis where all others have found doom..."

So the fox relaxed a little, and keeping in mind the words of the owl, he kept running towards the north, on the road. He heeded not the speedy winds, he attended neither the sun and moon, he just saw in his mind the large green fruit bearing trees of the forest, and kept running hoping it'll be his boon...

And after running for four more days, he came upon a green patch of land, in the midst of all the white smooth sand.
The fox slowed his pace, and in the middle of the green, he could see water of hue white and blue, peacefully waiting pristine and clean.

"This must be the oasis" he thought, "of which the wise old owl spoke, and here somewhere must that green monster lie, and avoiding him I should continue on my road."
But fate had some other plans- he was tired and his mouth parched, he could go on no more, and he remembered the owl had said rest is must, which he had almost forgotten like some ancient lore...

"I must have some water and rest, or else I cannot proceed, but how shall I deal with the green monster? The only hint I have is to use my wit," he thought to himself.

He thought and thought and thought a lot, how to have the reward yet have any danger not, and atlast he decided the enemy must be known, if he is to be slayed or outwitted, and thus he waited behind a medium sized bush, sneaking about a bit to take a closer look, around in the green anything he didn't see, thus he thought the monster is gone maybe.

And as soon as he decided to forget all fear the water in the lake rippled, arose slow and steady two marble eyes, and the fox swiftly hid behind his bush again.
Up came floating the green monster, and behold! It was a large thick alligator...!!

The fox had heard about them and in his native land had seen 1 or 2- they were cunning and could lie still for hours, and all were adviced to avoid with them showers, they ate fish and foliage and also the occasional fool, who thought going near them would be pretty cool.
The fox had no such plans, he had brains enough to not go near, but he needed water bad, thus he would have to quickly quench his thirst hence fear.

A few hours passed, and the fox saw the alligator floating around, and he from his weariness couldn't finally escape, and for a little while he was forced to drowse...

When he opened his eyes, his enemy was nowhere to be seen, he looked around, it was dusk, and in the dim light nothing much could be seen.
He went near the water, he was almost dying of thirst, and seeing the alligator no where about, he risked his life to get a little draught...

And he took a long sip, and filled his flask too, the cool clean water gave him new hope, and he felt so strong with anything he could now cope.

Merry and glad again he turned back to leave the shore, and whoa, at that very moment, the alligator lurking under the water arose, he opened his jaw and snapped his teeth, striking his leg and trapping the fox in it.

The fox wailed, for he was caught, and escape from the tight grip he could not.
For a second he felt death at hand, and said to himself, "at least I tried with glee", and losing all hope, he collapsed, letting the enemy drag him into the water slowly...

But from far away the owl sensed his peril, and forced his will to remind him some thoughts, and so his wit seemed to return again, with a renewed vigor he woke up nomore lost.

He knew he was in danger, and had to do something soon, and an idea struck, so he picked up a dead long brough from the shore, as many where lying, remnants of old dead trees, which once swayed loudly with the passing cool breeze...

He gathered all his last will and strength, and acted merry and fear free, he said aloud, letting the alligator here, "see this stupid fool, thinking my leg he gnaws at a branch of a dead tree!"

The alligator couldn't much see for it was dark, and the wit of the fox worked like a charm, the alligator thought he spoke the truth, and thinking his leg a tree he let go, and bit on the tree branch that the fox quickly placed, thinking it was the real leg of the fox, and thus deceiving him the fox quickly leaped, out of the water, and away from harm...

The alligator quickly realized his folly, but now it was too late, he paced towards the fox for revenge of being fooled, but the fox climed a tree, and temporarily away from danger peacefully slept...

Next day when the fox woke, he found at the base of tree the alligator, he was still and motionless and seemed to breath not, seeming that he was dead, and the fox can now safely pass...

But the fox was not so quick to judge, and once again called his wit, and said aloud, "he seems dead, but why is he so still? For I've heard, when someone's no longer living he shakes and sways coz the soul leaves the Body, and hence upon death remains still nobody..."

The alligator once again fell into his words, and forgetting how all his past victims were still on being dead, he took truly the fox's words, and began to shake and move his tail, letting the fox know he was still hot on his trail...

So the fox now knew he was not dead, and so couldn't come down, knowing to death that path now led.
The alligator at the bottom, the fox at the top, a game of cat and mouse, with at victory each having only one shot.

Thought and thought the fox again, for the alligator was harsh and tough, so could wait there for days, but the fox had to go to his goal, and hence to descend the tree make haste.

At last he hatched another plan to his mind, with a rope he had spare in his pocket, to the top of the tree he had the rope bind, and the other end he let hang below, near the mouth of the alligator sleeping sound...

The alligator when he awoke found the rope, and being hungry for the fox in hurry the rope it bit, and it got stuck in his mouth, for at the bottom of the rope, was a special glue the fox had prepared, from the fruits of the tree the night before...!!

The alligator thus shocked tried to free, the rope from his mouth but it couldn't get free.
In vain it was he saw, and being thirsty now, he made way for the water, the rope still in his mouth...
The tree bent as he went away, for it was like a spring flexible yet tough, and when the alligator was at the water, the tree had bent much like a catapult although a bit rough.

The fox stood at the top smiling, for his plan was coming into play, unknown to the alligator, the glue was special indeed, for as soon as water touched it, it melted and the rope became free!

The tree at once went straight and such force it lent to the fox, he flew away quite far, away from the danger, and fell into the sand, but he was slim and strong, so he rolled and had safely land.

The alligator suddenly saw the fox missing, and could never found out where he went, and with speed so much how the fox had cunningly escaped, he hasn't figured out even today... :-P

The fox thus well rested and drunk, away from danger at last, resumed his run, and reached without much problems more the great green forest, where he made many friends and ate many fruit, and for many more years he had his fun...

Love Story

Eluded me had love, for years and spuriously so,
Those days of yore when looked upon are, worth a laugh today, yet were teary that long while ago,
I used to wander the barren world, condoned & nonplussed, mileau replete with dogmatic drones,
On the path of hopelessness bestowed, vilely veiled as charity, left to rot all dead and alone,
But never were good times too far away, which time itself witnessed and now narrates,
For they were always within me as you, waiting to be kindled, and to with my tiny dreams very eagerly relate,
I returned since to the path of happiness, too quick to know, too propitiously blurred to see,
And never again I promised will I cry, whether or not in my life life happiness & gloom be,
As you my princess, gradually graced my life, with your life shared whole, with your glow and with your glory,
And wrote in the eternal pages of time, not just your or mine, but ours only ours, lovely Love Story...

Happy Valentine's Day

The first letter of each line........

Highs and Lows, a very part of life they seem,
And yet highs & highs only, in my life there has been,
Peers are often prone to suspect, but that chance I no more got,
Poor was I in probity too; in due time such vices I forgot,
You are the reason for all this my dear, yes you're the reason for all.

Valiant and ferocious when it came to protect,
Affable and austere when I craved comfort and & respect,
Leaving each other's past behind, leaving all other hate,
Ennui never encouraged, you became my perfect mate,
Nights of comforting rests you gave,
Times many of cherishable memories were saved,
In my heart the flood gates had been closed,
Never had I thought they could open the way you showed,
Everyday little by little, the rock melted into lava sans strife,
Since you cam into my life oh my dear, since you came into my life.

Days have gone by, many more days still remain,
A hope in my heart so always booms, that together we can assuage all & any disdain,
You are that reason for all hopes my dear, yes you are that reason and I pray will always be.

The Convicted Judge

It's been so long, thanks to the paucity of time these days(read months/years)...!! Anyways, this is a new one; Alternate stanzas represent the two alternate egos:

The gavel thumps again, trying to probe an ache in my heart,
As I stand today in public, pent up into myself,
Deploring not foreseeing, this end from the very start,
Wondering whether the means of it, really stand justified.

The convict stands prosaic and spent,
Thankfully not with an act of mercy, hoping to be petitioned in vain,
He still looks younger than the usual us, a courtesy his so called crimes may have lent,
A crime which I remember again, today everyone condemns, but no one commits.

I go back into memories, those days of honesty and gloom,
Everyone was like me, unlike today, when I'm alone,
A weather true, without pretense, sans hypocrisy loomed,
Alas, the fate of mine, now lies with people not human anymore,
But revered morons, who've escaped truth too long to know.

What's he thinking, I ponder as all fall silent?
What has he even done, to be here, in this court of spurious glee,
Except to admit, that he has emotions true,
Like love and hatred, unmasked without any dent?
In a world which has now rendered unlawful,
Ever not smiling, with or without any reason.

I hope no more now, all I have left is my pride,
For I know I am true, and I know the world knows it too,
They're just afraid poor people, afraid to face the hollow, on which their carpets now ride,
Only I am left of the truth, and in a few moments, I won't be there too,
And all that will be left is this peaceful world, with people at war,
With their own selves, unable to come out anymore, unable to howl in pain,
For it is an iniquitous crime now, to feel emotions, and to feel pain.

His innocence is too brilliant, to be condoned by our society of today,
I am a part of the crowd, a puppet with powers, to break free the restraints,
But I choose not to, choosing the easy way, of conforming without thinking, as it hurts,
So I finally happily convict the esoteric ignoramus to death,
And feel the noose I've bestowed to him just now,
Laugh like us all, and tighten around my neck.

On the Otherside

Crying for the first time, today courtesy myself,
I realize this act, whence this scene unveils,
Clandestine and ignoble, marked by maybe spurious remorse,
Outperforms in blackness, all deeds I've authored till date.

There's nothing I can do, except those I don''t want to,
Even as a soul tears before me for me, as I watch helpless,
With tears not mine, tearing the two it sees,
Except staying silent, as unutterables are spoken.

I have failed to value things dear, condoned recognizing a chance of redemption,
Have no other option than to go, seeking amnesia of this dream,
Of pain, of lies, of lust, and heartbreak; and in vain, just gone,
With remnants the worst: a lesson, which wasn't worth learning in hindsight.

Life has taken a new turn, anticipated not in the wildest,
Proving once again, that it has a reason for being this namesake,
And my past flashes before me, which I used to detest,
I so weak wish weakly, to go back there, to better be than the present.

The seeds have now been sown, a monster might as well be growing,
Which gives no shade, bears no fruit, only unluck, as will fall on me,
And my lament does and will continues, unable to grasp the done,
With that faint hope that the bad ending, will present itself after I leave this journey.

Fullmoon

And I ask her sudden, "Why aren't you veiled today?"
She says, "Ask me else, for today I'm honest and true,"
Gloriously above me, calm and sooth,
I wonder in awe, what verity should I want to know,
I ponder and ask, "Then tell me what is love?
The mirage that plagues many, forcing emotions untrue,
Haunting all beings, tell me, I ask you,"
She says, "I know not love, for I've been alone for aeons,"
I get confused, "But I see so many in heavens, shining with you,
Don't they love your beauty, and crave your serenity too?"
Her gaze turns torn, struggling to cry,
I wait, for composure, deploring puppetting the show,
She just smiles wry at last and says,
"I'm nothing but an illusion, lifeless is my real form,
For they who give you life and birth, are who myself I've borrowed from..."
